If you smell gas
Turn off the gas at the meter if it is safe to do so, open doors and windows, do not use switches, flames or phones near the smell, and call the National Gas Emergency Service on 0800 111 999 (free, 24 hours). Gasfix Pro is not an emergency service.
Who this is for
Gasfix Pro is a reference and record keeping tool for qualified, Gas Safe registered engineers (and, for oil and LPG work, the equivalent registration for that work). It does not make anyone competent to work on gas appliances. Gas work by unregistered people is illegal and dangerous. If you are not a registered engineer, please do not use this site to work on a gas appliance.
Information from manuals
- Fault codes, procedures, flue gas readings, manufacturer data, wiring information and similar content on this site is read from manufacturers’ manuals by an AI system and may be incomplete, out of date or wrong, even when it looks right.
- Manufacturers update their manuals and models. Always check the figure or instruction against the manufacturer’s current instructions for the exact appliance in front of you before you rely on it, and follow the manufacturer’s instructions where they differ from this site.
- Each entry shows the manual and page it came from so you can check it. Please use the “report a mistake” option, or email us, if you spot an error.
- Where a value is missing it means we have not recorded it. It does not mean it does not exist.
Calculators and tools
Calculators give estimates based on the figures you enter. Check results yourself and against the relevant regulations, standards and manufacturer’s data, and apply your own professional judgement.
Certificates and paperwork
The certificates, records, quotes and invoices you create are templates to help you. Engineers remain responsible for their own paperwork, for filling it in correctly and completely, and for making sure it meets the legal and scheme requirements that apply to the work. We are not a scheme provider and do not check or notify your work.

To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for loss or damage that results from relying on the site instead of the manufacturer’s instructions and your own checks. Nothing in this disclaimer limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Manufacturer and product names are used only to identify the appliances that the information relates to. They belong to their owners. Gasfix Pro is not connected with, approved by or endorsed by any manufacturer.
